Lowrance - POOR Customer Service 3 times enough is enough!!
To start I have alway owned Lowrance. I bought a new HOOK 2 7" in February 2019 from Bass Pro.
I installed the system on my boat and took it for a test run. The first time out the system worked as advertised. The next week I took the boat out I could not get sonar, downscan, or side view to work. I was getting water temp and speed.
So I pulled the boat out of the water to make sure it was not the transducer and it looked the same as it did in the box. So I contacted customer service right as they opened and did not get a call back for 4 hours. After I was able to talk the rep I was on the phone for 1.5 hours just trying to get them to send me a transducer. It took them a week to send it out and 3.5 weeks to get the part at my house.
I installed the part as soon as it came in and took the boat to see if it worked. NOPE! So I contacted them again. This time I was requesting the head unit.
I was on the phone for 2 hours then they wanted to charge me 600.00 when I payed 550.00 for it just to have them send me a part that was under warranty. I was so mad it this point I just wanted my stuff fixed. So as of today 05-07-19 They still have not shipped my head unit and it has been two weeks.
So as of now I have missed two tournaments, not been able to use my boat for now almost 3 months. Good luck if it breaks!!
